Stumbling About

I came across STUMBLEUPON the other day and love it. It’s a tool which will take you some of the undiscovered gems on the internet. However, it should come with a warning, you will lose hours of your life and probably gain a few pounds through the inactivity !

Anyway, what is Stumbleupon?

The tool asks you to defined the type of things you are interested in and based on this it will take you to a wide variety of site based on that criteria. I have come across some wonderful sites which i would never have found without it. I use it now to get inspiration for sites I build, pick up interesting pointers on digital photographer and many other things.

Keep Calm and Carry On

Don’t know if people have noticed these wonderful T-shirts etc. which are around at the moment. It’s a phrase, I think from World War II to keep the British “stiff upper lip” and appeared on posters. I think the new T-shirts are great and want to get one and also I feel it is a good phrase to use in the current economic crisis. So come on everyone, Keep Calm And Carry On, we can beat this Johnny Credit Crisis blighter.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Welcome back again to my little space on the Blogosphere or whatever it’s called.

That’s me on the left, a middle aged IT Consultant in the UK. I’ve been on this little green hunk of rock 45 years now and i must say on the whole its been good, so far.

The aims of this Blog are varied, part a New Year’s Resolution, part record of my activities throughout the year and part some of my views on things going on in the world.
